The Running, Jumping And Standing Still Film

To follow on from yesterday's post in which I shared an odd little Jim Henson film, here's another short from some equally odd comedy heroes of mine. Peter Sellers was a man obsessed with his film camera and the possibilities offered by it. So he rounded up a few friends - including director Richard Lester (responsible for the Beatles films) and the well-known typing error Spike Milligna - to muck about with said camera and see what they would come up. And here is the result. (Sadly, this video is in two parts and cuts halfway into my favourite sequence thus ruining the timing slightly but it's still worth a watch.) Enjoy.

Hehehe. The only thing I love as much as Peter Sellers is Spike Milligan.

Yeah. That was good.
I agree Anna. Spike is a genius.

Both once again confirming that you are women of impeccable taste. I'm not actually sure what peccable is, though, so I think impeccable's good but I can't confirm it.
