Cheesily Cheerful

It's a Friday (yes, my powers of observation really are second to none) and I've noticed that things tend to wind down a bit over the weekend round these here parts. So, to continue my week long theme of being a lazy style blogger who doesn't write too much, here are some cheesily cheerful guilty pleasure-style tunes to set those weekend toes a-tapping. They're not great works of art, they won't win any awards but they might just make you smile in an "oh yeah" kind of a way. Enjoy (remember, if you don't enjoy it, it's free so, no, you can't have some money back. Yeesh, some people...)

Nothing From Nothing - Billy Preston

Mama Used To Say - Junior

Shine A Little Love - ELO

All cheesily cheerful, I think you'll agree. Any more for any more?

I did a post a couple of weeks ago that started out, "It's Friday. Yes, I have a knack for stating the obvious." Great minds and all ;)

Nothing From Nothing is a great song, I say. He should have won a Nobel Peace Prize from that, because who would want to fight a war who's heard that tune?

Ahhh. Billy Preston. He could play.

Diane - Well, if we didn't state the obvious, who would?

TishTash - It is impossible to commit any violent acts while listening to that song. Preston for Nobel...

Pearl - I don't know any of his other stuff but I do like that one.

Anna The Russell - Yep, it's like a bumper bundle of your "You Know Love It"...

Loved them.
What did you do this weekend? Apart from picking your nose, rolling it into a ball and flicking it at your wall...
Okay I'll stop now. I've done that to death..

Corkers, aren't they? Actually, the nose was untouched. I did, however, spend the weekend stroking my beard, starting fights in a whiskey-fuelled haze and hooking up with ex-girlfriends. Damn.
