Forger (Part 2)

I forgot about these ones yesterday for my mural-based posting. These were designed and painted along with a friend of mine, Liz, so I can only take half the credit on these ones. It was for a friend of a friend's play that they were putting on in a theatre above a pub. As part of putting on the show, the pub let you decorate the stairway leading up to the theatre rooms in whatever style you wanted so we were asked to design a mural for them (having seen our Gotham City living room!) and below are the designs we came up with. Rather shamefully, I can't remember the name of the play anymore but it was a rather bleak affair about a recently released accomplice to a serial killer (I think). Hence our grim industrial designs...

I scrolled through these for a few minutes, mulling them over, keying on that "serial killer" vibe and why it made sense to me. And then it hit me: it's the little face in the window. That made it all click for me. Well done! Although I imagine the lighting wasn't as cheerful as all that, am I right?

I wanted to thank you for dropping in on me at Irish Gumbo! I very much appreciate the eyes on the page. And thank you for the follow!

West London? Interesting. Where does that put you, footie-wise?

And Foo Fighters, Googol Bordello, Manu Chao and Salt N Pepa: You are beautiful, man, don't let anyone tell you otherwise...

Yep, it's a careful equation - single child peering out of window corner = instant creepy.

Thank you, suire, for the return follow!

Ah, football - it's a foreign country to me. My family all live there while I sit slightly offshore on a small boat looking bemused (actually, that goes for sport in general with the possible exception of darts and snooker; anything where a clinically obese man can be referred as a "sportsman" is fine by me).

Ha! I understand. I likes me some football, and have been a Gooner (US version) for awhile, but have noticed it can get me some stick (especially from Red Devils and 'Spurs).

And darts is a sport! All that lifting and throwing!
